Prayer – Conversations with God

I Thess 5:16- 18 NKJV
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus for you.

God is our best friend and He wants to hear from us often. Yes, I know he already knows everything because He’s all-knowing but it’s His request. Just talk to Him like you’re talking to your best friend and confidant. When you wake up, check in and say good morning, tell Him what you’re up to today, tell Him the challenges you have to face. When you eat a meal or snack, say thank you to Him. He’ll surprise you all day long with people and ideas to get your through the day, the week, the year. Thank Him for those ideas, He loves to hear from you.

Dear Jesus,
Thank you for being there when I need you. I often forget to converse with you but I’m going to
start new, right now. Amen
