ASK God

7  “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.  8  For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
9  “You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead?  10  Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not!  11  So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

God is so good that He gives you the best. Sometimes He wants you to wait a bit, perhaps for betting timing, perhaps to build your faith, whatever the reason – God has a plan for you. Very similar to a parent who may tell a child no to a used bike but buys the child a new bike as a birthday gift. The child was sad or perhaps angry when you said no but were so excited a few months later when he/she saw
the brand new bike.

You would never deprive your child of the best you can afford and God our amazing Father will never deprive you His best. Trust God, talk to God, ask Him for your needs and wants but don’t forget to also say thank you. As we go through this pandemic, ask God about it. Ask Him how you can be His hands and feet, ask Him how you can be Jesus’ representative, ask Him what He thinks about the government’s rules. Ask Him whatever questions you have. He might want you to do a bit of research, read the Bible, read a science book or article, talk to your pastor or a friend, maybe even help a friend. God has a plan for you – if
you want to know that plan – just Ask Him
