Love – God is all about Love (Linda D)
John 3:16-17 NKJV
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send
His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might
be saved.
We all know this verse, it was probably the first verse memorized, but do you really know it. Not
only does God love you but He is ALWAYS there waiting for you,
Driving down Riverside Drive, traffic is stopped up ahead and can’t figure out why. As I slow down closer to the cars I see the reason. A line of geese on the shore, several slowly crossing the street and many more waiting on the other side. Meanwhile dozens of cars stopped while God’s creatures relocate. No matter how late you are, how impatient you might be you have to stop and enjoy the geese, there’s nothing to do but smile and laugh.
God takes care of those geese and He’ll take of you even if He has to find a gaggle of geese and
several dozen cars to cheer you up. God loves you and He wants you to share that love with others so smile and make somebody’s day today.
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for coming to earth to be our mentor and friend. Thank you for teaching me how to be a
friend. I'm asking for your help to spread your love to my friends and family today. Amen
